ChatterBox X2

The new ChatterBox X2 is an update to the successful MultiSport+ self-contained helmet mounted communications system. This system supports 14 channels and is mounted in a new water-resistant casing.

This unit now comes standard with the new and improved Dynamic Noise Reducing (DNR) headsets.

Key features of this unit are:

* 14 Channel radio tuned to Australian approved frequencies (no licence required)
* Up to 4Km range
* System is self contained - no wiring to the bike required
* Voice activation for hands free use
* An intercom feature to talk to your pillion (additional headset required)
* Stereo playback from a Walkman® type radio/music player
* An interface to (some) mobile phones
* Music playback is suppressed when microphones are in use
* 38 Talk Groups

Chatterbox X2 Kit

The kit supplied comes complete with:

* The ChatterBox X2 unit
* Mounting hardware for your helmet (no drilling required)
* A Ni-MH battery pack that fits inside the unit
* An Australian specification 240V, 50Hz battery charger
* A 'press to talk' switch
* An interface cable to a Walkman style stereo
* A stereo DNR headset (Please specify full-face or open-face when ordering). Note: This is the upgraded headset used on the new models.

Note: This unit has been modified to operate in the Australian approved frequency band (915MHz) rather than the USA/Canada standard of 900MHz.
